Our details, on the record

Contributions fund three things: the cost of participation for individuals and families, the inclusive events and outings we host, and direct support and connection for caregivers. A necessary minority of funds covers operating basics such as insurance, filings, and payment processing fees.

All online gifts are processed by Givebutter, which issues an emailed receipt at the time of the donation. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution unless stated at the time of an event purchase.

We do not publish a fixed year-over-year percentage split, because our expense mix shifts with the event calendar. Current financial information is available upon request.

Blake's Buddies & Friends, Inc. is an incorporated nonprofit recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization is led by its Director, Ken Lawler, and operates under the oversight of its governing body in accordance with its bylaws and applicable state and federal nonprofit law.
